Saikyo Dojo

Our Dojo is a recognized and certified dojo under the International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan (IKO Sosai).
Literal interpretations of foreign words tend to foster single-mindedness. "Saikyo" is a japanese word for "strongest", an individual most likely would interpret that we are trying to say we are the strongest dojo, however those who understand karate and the concept of budo will find that it is much more than that.
By calling our school the strongest, we are speaking in reference to kokoro, ki, karada; which is the heart, spirit and body. By regularly training in Kyokushin Karate an individual will find that these 3 aspects will strengthen greatly. This concept is the foundation of Kyokushin Karate and is evident from the first line of Dojo Kun (Training Hall Oath), "We will train our hearts and body for a firm unshaken spirit".
Regardless of age, gender, or physical/mental limitations, one can find that through training here at Saikyo Dojo that you will have the physical skills, discipline and power of concentration developed at dojo. These qualities can then be applied to school, work, family and social life. These are the true qualities of a karate-ka (student of karate).
